IDE will not start
« on: February 18, 2015, 07:08:30 am »
I have downloaded and extracted the Arduino IDE 1.5.8C from as per the tutorial. prior to using the DigiX board. I have done alot with Arduinos already, so I am not a beginner!
I am running Fedora 64bit.
When I run the script to start the IDE I get the following error:

Code: [Select]
Error: Could not find or load main class
I have tried this with Oracle Java jdk installed and openJDK as well.
In the script the last line is:

Code: [Select]
java --curdir $CURDIR "$@"
but there is no file 'GTKLookAndFeel' on my system
Anyone know how to get this running?

This generally has to do with JDK and relates directly to processing/Arduino and nothing specific to the Digistump version - here is a similar bug report and fix:
