usb driver load fail?
« on: June 01, 2016, 05:52:06 pm »
I seem to have gotten a few of the listed drivers to load into my windows 8.1 machine, but cannot get the first line to load . It says Digistump LLC (usbser) Ports (08/16/201......... install failed.

So my digispark is worthless at this point. Can you explain how to get the driver to load?  without it, I don't seem to be able to get the digispark to get recognized by the  arduino software.
I tried 1.0.5 and 1.6.5R5 and 1.6.9 versions of arduino.

 :(

Got the same error on Windows 10 x64 but it worked anyway without issues with Arduino 1.6.9.
I just programmed a brand new, freshly unpacked Digispark as a test.

Strange...I have 1.6.9 and can't even get it to show a com port with any of my 3 Digisparks I just got. On Windows 10 x64. Arduino Micro, Uno, Mega and Nano all work fine on same machine.
