I think this is a bad idea. There are SO MANY great places to share those things already. There\'s no way Erik could duplicate the features or functionality or popularity of github or google code, oshpark or seeedpcb, flickr or picasa, etc. The community should just pick one place for each type of thing (I recommend github for all of it except the pictures).
