For some reason my Pro's have become bricked simply from trying to upload sketches to them. The first one from changing the timing on the LED flash example sketch.
The power LED remains on and the activity LED no longer flashes upon connection. It is now a 'device not recognised' in windows.
The Pro has always given me trouble connecting properly with constant freezing, flash -1 errors needing reboots and port changes.
Is there a chance that the bootloader has become corrupted? Is it possible to reload with minimal gear?
Is there an issue with the reliability of this device? Or am I just unlucky?
