stepper tester
« on: January 26, 2013, 11:19:43 am »
Hi guys.

I'm building some 3d printers and would like to be able to test the various stepper motors during assembly would it be possible to use one of these driver boards and a digistump to do this?

Sure, you need 4 outputs to drive this board, so it's ok, I think you can use the arduino stepper library (the 4 pin mode).
There's no current limitation when using the L298 alone so you must use your stepper rated voltage (or lower) on the +12V power line.
