Has anyone tried to get the ESP8266 working with the Digispark? I'm not sure if the Digispark could do it or if one would need the Pro.
I won't have time until the holidays to give this a go but I'm hoping to find some information on this. Thanks.

shouldn't be a problem if you don't forget a level shifter because of the 3v3 for the ESP8266. Therefore not only the source must be shifted but also the bus.
