DigiX DAC. Audio library. Sd card. not playing file correctly
« on: January 24, 2014, 04:49:50 am »
Hi all.
I seem to be having a problem with playing SD card wav files with the audio library.
I am using the SimpleAudioPlayer example.
The wav file loads up OK but when it plays it doesn't play correctly.
The only thing I hear is blocks of hiss like white noise to the end of the file and then it stops.
Has anyone else experienced this?
Should I be changing the code in any way?

Thanks,
Steve.

P.S Thanks to you lovely guys at DigiStump for sending me another DigiX board after the last one had a faulty DAC channel.
The old one is on its way back to you now. :)

Glad the new board works!

This means the audio is encoded properly for playback or there is an issue with reading the SD card - the arduino forums might offer some insight.
