A few weeks ago our Digispark Radar went off and we found the DigiPixel project by Bradley Slattery on Kickstarter. Not only is Brad a Digispark user and electronics maker - but he has made a truly awesome shield that is Arduino and Digispark compatible. Yep - when we found his project we really felt like the Digispark has made it, to be supported as a feature in another device!

Check out Brad's video:

Brad sent us a demo unit to play with, and honestly I haven't had so much fun with a single shield (Digispark or Arduino) in some time - that could be because I'm usually producing them instead of playing with them, but it is also because Brad's little shield is awesome and even the demo code he sent had a bunch of examples that all worked perfectly on the Digispark.

Disclaimer: We gain nothing from this, except the free demo board he sent us. We are not affiliated with Brad in any way, and though we hope to maybe carry these at some point, we do not endorse this product or Kickstarter...

To enter a coupon code add items to your cart, then click on the cart, enter the coupon code into the "Coupon Code" box and hit the apply link next to it - your order should then reflect your discount. We cannot add codes after an order has been made.

  • Enter the code "FREEDIGI" to get a Free Digispark with any purchase of $25 or more. For this to work you...

As you may have noticed we've been slowly adding components, and we plan to keep at it! In fact, right now we have over 100 components to add to the webstore - including breadboards, jumper wires, ICs, LEDs, stranded wire, and more (links further down this post)!

We've also added a resistor kit - with our very own branding and reference card. Do you ever find that you never have the right resistor values when you need them? The resistor kit provides 20 each of 20 common values of resistors in 1/4w through hole format. It also comes with a handy reference card for reading the values in the kits, as well as a resistor color code reference for reading any resistor!
You can check that out here:

Here is a close up of the reference card:

If you haven't yet, take a look through our new categories and watch our twitter feed (, which new products are now posted to, or check back as we add more almost daily!
