We're very excited to announce the first of many new shields and new Digistump products! The Digispark Wing Shield allows you to attach screw terminals to all of the i/o pins of the Digispark as well as the three power pins. This makes it easy to attach your Digispark to wires for prototyping, connecting to other devices, and installing in projects. The screw terminals provide a tough reliable connection that is also easy to attach and remove.
The Wings shield is designed to sit outside of the outline of the Digispark, so if you use stackable headers (sold separately) additional shields stacked on top of it (most) will not block the screw terminals. This also helps it to permit taller shields to be stacked below it.
