Two channel TRIAC shield (elwire controller)

This shield has two optocouplers, two triacs, and three AC connectors. One for input from your inverter, two for output to AC loads. My specific intent with this shield is to do elwire sequencing. My inspiration is these 8-channel controllers:

If anyone is interested in this... would you prefer a 2/3 channel shield with a current limit of 800mA per channel, or a 4-8 channel shield with a current limit of 70mA per channel?

Is it as simple as dividing this up per per meter?  I mean, from 800mA I can drive 200m?  Apologies for the basic question, just want to know the amount of meters one would be able to drive in the different configurations you have posted.  By the way, thx for the rad shields!

The shield\'s triac will limit the current per channel, and the inverter (not included with this shield) will limit the total current. So if you have a weak inverter (the kind made for 5-10m of wire), it won\'t matter which way I design the shield. But if you have a strong inverter (the kind made for 30m+ of wire) then the shield with a higher per-channel limit could be important to you.

PS: here\'s a 6 channel version with a limit of 70mA per channel. I had to ditch the JST connectors and go to plain headers:

Are pin headers rated for > 100vac?

Most 2.54mm (.1in) pin headers are tested at 120VAC or higher.
A quick check of some data sheets:
3M lists 1KV and two amps
TE lists 250V and five amps
FCI lists 1.5KV and three amps
