Weather Shield schematic?
« on: April 18, 2016, 10:53:28 pm »
I'm trying to gain a better understanding of the weather shield and wondering if there is a schematic for it. Specifically want to know what pins the wind and rain RJ11 connectors use as inputs. From tedious ohm'ing out the board, I'm guessing rain is on pin 5 and wind on pin 1, but wind would have 2 inputs, speed and direction if fully implemented. There also appears to be headers for raw AOUT from the ADC chip and headers to make use of AIN2 and AIN3 for the same chip.

Erik, is there a schematic for this? Not that I'm ready to use rain and wind input but it would be nice to know how to connect and use them if desired. Saw these products here..

https://www.argentdata.com/catalog/product_info.php?products_id=168 Rain gauge.
https://www.argentdata.com/catalog/product_info.php?products_id=175&osCsid=j8BfDyPTBSCarufNpnlVt0 Wind speed only.

and wondered if they could be used with the Oak Weather Shield.
