Serial - TX/RX with SERIAL_8E1??
« on: October 27, 2015, 01:48:20 pm »
I'm trying to use the Serial.begin(19200,SERIAL_8E1) with TX/RX (pins 6/7) via a TTL/RS232 shifter for controlling an intercom system with the DigiSpark Pro.

The Arduino IDE 1.6.5 says the SERIAL_8E1 was not declared.  I've compiled the same code with Serial1 on the Arduino Leonardo and it ran successfully with the intercom system.

Does the DigiSpark Pro hardware Serial for TX/RX (pins 6/7) have data/parity/stop bits capability? If so, how can the list of SERIAL_XXX be added to the DigiSpark compiler? The SERIAL_XXX list is at https://www.arduino.cc/en/Serial/Begin

Thanks in advance for the help or suggestions!!
