PlatformIO: Digispark/DigiX from command line + library manager
« on: February 28, 2015, 09:25:13 am »
Dear friends,

I'm glad to inform you that PlatformIO 1.0 has received support for Digispark/DigiX boards. It allows you to build Digispark/DigiX based projects using command line and popular OS: Mac OS X, Windows, Linux 32/64, credit-card PCs (Raspberry Pi, BeagleBoard, CubieBoard).

You don't need to install any IDE, tool chains or etc. PlatformIO has the same behaviour on the different OS. It is suitable for "Cloud Compiling" with rich CLI, including "JSON" export of the results.

Don't forget that you can Integrate PlatformIO to the popular IDEs/Text Editors.

See example of DigiMouse Project.

P.S: PlatformIO has missing library manager for embedded development. For more details please follow to PlatformIO Library Manager.
