I'm trying to get my Lenovo laptop (Windows 7, 64 bit) to recognize my digispark. I installed the drivers and followed the instructions here: http://digistump.com/board/index.php/topic,248.0.html. But I can't get it to work. When I try to upload a sketch, I get
Running AVRDUDE...
avrdude_original: usbdev_open(): did not find any USB device "usb"
If I plug the digispark into a USB slot, i get USB device not recognized.
If the digispark is plugged in and I go to Control Panel - Devises and Printers. There is an icon for unknown device. If I double click the icon and go to the hardware tab, it says: Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43)

Have you selected the Digispark under both Tools->Board->Digispark as well as Tools->Programmer->Digispark? - based on the arduino error when you upload I think you need to do the latter.

I didn't have the Programmer set to Digispark. I changed that, but Windows still has problems. When I plug the Digispark in, it Windows says it didn't recognize the USB device. I tried the Digispark on a different Win7 64-bit laptop and it works fine, so I know it's not the Digispark.

What should I try next?

Is the error that it isn't recognized or that it is malfunctioning - if it isn't recognized try a usb extension cable, hub, and/or a different port. It may also be due to the driver not having installed properly, you might want to try uninstalling the driver and reinstalling it.
Thanks,
erik

I attached some screenshots so you can see the errors I'm getting. This is the first install of Arduino on this laptop, so there are no lingering Arduino drivers from previous installs.
When i go to install the driver, it says the best driver for my device is already installed.
I tried an extension cable, but with the same results.

It's working now. I re-ran
Arduino\DigisparkArduino-Win32\DigisparkWindowsDriver\InstallDriver.exe
