Title: Android support
Post by: isnogud77 on August 21, 2012, 05:20:59 am
I would be interested to use the Digispark together with my Android phone. Does the Digispark support the Android open accessory protocol?

Any progress on Android support? I can program my Uno from my Acer Iconia Tab A200 using Arduino Commander, and I'd love to be able to do the same with my Digisparks.

This would first require a version of firmata to work on the Digispark over USB-HID instead of serial.

It would also require the Arduino Commander to support talking to the Digispark over USB-HID.

All the info needed is available, and I'd be happy to help anyone doing anything like this with any info or questions, but unfortunately we don't have the resources on our end to tackle something like this right now.

Arduino Commander looks awesome though, a Digispark version would certainly be great!
