Title: CDC and the Drivers?
Post by: sarf2k4 on February 27, 2018, 11:37:40 pm
Hi, I have the kickstarter version of the digispark pro I sourced from china. I spent about 2 hours trying to get the digipro (digispark pro) to be recognized by windows driver.

I tried zadig and got the digipro identified as 16d0/0753 upon the first connection but not after the digipro code kicks in, it is 0000/0006.

I also tried the digispark keyboard that will print out "Hello digistump!" code, it was recognized as HID keyboard and will type in those characters.

I tried the CDC Led and Echo code, uploaded and windows didn't recognize the board. I can upload the sketch and all but I think this is weird.

I am using

- windows 10 64
- laptop Asus K501LX

The rev 3 china kickstarter boards are typically faulty. In most cases because you need to upload the firmware from what I've read, but other times it can also be faulty components on the board. There are several posts online explaining how to resolve this problem, I'm no expert. But you might want to start there. :)
