Title: Money back
Post by: jeffschweigler on July 11, 2017, 11:07:51 pm
I bought a bunch of Oaks and a few other things. The Oak does not behave as advertised.
The light is solid on first connect and then does not start flashing most of the time as the documentation states.
So I can only sometimes see it show up in my list of networks. Not reliable at all.
I tried the local update option but Windows Defender detects a virus in the archive so I am unable to run it.
Very strange...

I would like my money back.

Jeff,

The forum isn't the right place to ask for a refund. You would be much more likely if you send an email to  support (a-t) digistump (d-o-t) com ;)

However, in the mean time, please consider this thread (http://digistump.com/board/index.php?topic=2718.0) to continue to make use of your Oaks, and keep in mind that Erik is working on an alternative to Particle that will work with the Oaks in ESP8266 Arduino mode...
