Title: Install Digistump avr board (Attiny85) offline
Post by: yo4rng on April 06, 2017, 02:30:26 am
Hi,

I'm forced to install software only offline. Please let me know how to install Digistump avr board support on Arduino IDE (ATtiny85).

Thank you

It'll be a bit tricky, but it is probably doable. It's just a bit awkward as the install package is optimised for use with the Arduino IDE board manager, so is harder to install manually.

Need some more information first... such as what operating system are you using? Windows, MAC or Linux? I can give you some instructions for Windows which should get you most of the way there, but you might still have to fiddle with a few things to get it fully working.

You can try to download IDE from here, https://sourceforge.net/projects/digistump/files/ (https://sourceforge.net/projects/digistump/files/), using other computer. Then copy to your computer. Maybe, DigisparkArduino-Win32-1.0.4-May19.zip is suitable for you.
