I bought 2 oaks. After a bit of messing about and several tries, I got the first one to update successfully. I moved on to the 2nd one but ran out of time before I could get it to update.
It did the blinking LED thing and and broadcast its acorn wifi id before I eventually powered it down. I got it out again today to have another go, but now it only has the power LED lit, the other one is dark and the acorn id is no longer being broadcast. I'm using the same power supply as before which is powering the other oak perfectly.
Has anyone else had this issue? Any ideas what I can try to fix it? Or is the board likely to be dead?

I had one Oak that behaved oddly -- sometimes it would appear to boot normally and begin the 1 blink-per-second, with SoftAP SSID active. Other times, it would only give me a power light, with no blinking status. After *much* trial and error, I finally got the firmware update via the local server method.
Try powering up and down a few times. If it's not blinking, power down and wait a minute or two before powering back up. If you still don't get a response, try the Pin 1 reset (attach P1 to GND, power up, wait about 3 sec, then disconnect P1 from GND).
