Title: Connecting to USB Serial?
Post by: digi_guy on October 28, 2014, 10:13:59 am
Could a digispark original or pro be used to communicate with a usb serial device?

I'd like to connect to a usb ant+ stick and turn it into a wireless sensor.

Pretty sure the answer is no, and that both devices are acting as slave but I thought I'd check.  I know the pro has both wifi and bluetooth shields, but I assume it's a direction connection and not over usb.

No - they act as a device not a host - the Pro could possibly work with a USB host shield for Arduino, but there probably isn't enough ram to run their libraries.
