Title: Problem running ServerExample
Post by: guusbaggermans on June 01, 2014, 06:38:03 am
I connected the DIGIX to my home network in AP+STA mode. Everything seems fine, I can access the control panel and change settings. When I run the ServerExample though, I get no response on port 8080. When I open a serial terminal I have various levels of success sending the first 'unlock' character to get the system to start up. Mostly it hangs after 'Starting', sometimes it starts but then the server doesn't respond through the browser...

hi, are you sure the wifi is getting enough power, my laptop did not have the juice to power it up completly via usb, I had to use a 9v barrel jack. wifi is very low power at idle, but to transmit or do any work, it gulps power so 500mA usb will brownout.

Did you change the Baudrate to 9600?

Either change it in the Webconfig to 9600 or in the sketch to 115200

I'm not sure if this is a non-issue, but i had to take my firewall down in order to get this going. I JUST started on this a few days ago, and I will very soon, open the port so that I don't have to bring down my firewall.
Don't know if that helps.
