Like several people here, I have struggled today with saving STA settings. But weirdly it worked before.
No matter what I did today, it reverted to the previous settings on Save/Restart.
Fiiiiiiiinally, I figured it out a few minutes ago. The web UI for the Wifi232-G module doesn't like Chrome on Ubuntu! Just switch to Firefox and everything saves fine. Hope this helps others suffering from this.
