Title: Thread killed ?

Hello,

I answered in the thread:    
General Discussion » General Electronics » swiss army knife for serial connections
and since posting my answer with an attached PNG I am unable to view the whole thread, as long as I am logged in.
When I log out, i can see the thread, when I am logged in I receive a 0 byte webpage with proper http-handshake.

Tested with Firefox, Opera, Internet Explorer.

Are others able to view the thread, when they are logged in?

also can't see it ... unfortunally there didn't come back any kind of HTML that could give an inidication what went wrong.

Same here, using both Chrome and Firefox browsers under Linux (RHEL 6.4)

I removed the attachment and now it works - probably the auto-resizing code in the forum software was running out of memory trying to resize such a huge image.

Looks like, the image was really somewhat huge, when it gets uncompressed.  I usually create images, which could be printed with 600 dpi, so sorry!
I attached now a reduced image to the thread.
The behavior of the forum-software reminds me to ZIP-bombs, which killed years ago mail-servers and antivirus/antispam detection.

Furthermore I recommend carefully watching the logs, that no exception was risen, otherwise that might be a security risk.
