I installed Arduino 1.5 and the DigitX drivers, when I try to upload to the DigiX the Aurdino IDE crashes on me. It says "Java(TM) Platform SE binary has stopped working"
Thanks!
Edit: This is on Windows 7 Enterprise 64-bit.
EditX2: It also seems like the Java platform crashes anytime I try to access the serial port.

Apparently rebooting three times, removing the driver, rebooting, reinstalling the driver fixes the problem.
-
I see this in the DigiSpark section - I was getting the same error and posted in the DIGIX section:
Java PlatformSE binary has stopped working

My machine logon account went dead yesterday and I uninstalled things and haven't gotten back to make it work yet.

I see the 1.5.x IDE crash from time to time - usually unplugging the board (which ever I'm working with - Arduino, DigiX, Due, etc) and restarting the program fixes it.
-
Ditto.
1.5.5-r2 - crashes immediately when I try serial monitor
crashes upon upload when I try that
still crashes if I choose Due instead of DigiX
no amount of unplugging/replugging/erase-button changes anything.
my shiny new board is unuseable :-(
Windows 7 x64 platform.
Looks like some problem with the serial drivers or something:

Please move this thread to DIGIX. It seems not to be digispark related!
