The Wiki instructions didn't work for me - there was no sign DigiX in the Arduino Board menu. Tried taking folders out of folder (still within Docs/Arduino) with no joy.
Here's the steps I went through to finally get DigiX to show up in the board menu.
-- Notes on installing DigiX on Mac Arduino 1.5.4
• Part 1
- Unpack DigiXAddons-v04.zip file on deskup.
- Double click DigiXAddons-v04 to open the folder.
- Doube click "hardware" to open that folder; inside you should see "digistump".
• Part 2
- Put Arduino application (1.5ish version) on desktop.
- Control click the Arduino application
- Select Show Package Contents
- Double click "Contents" folder.
- Double click "Resources" folder.
- Double click "Java" folder.
- Double click "hardware" folder
• Part 3
- Drag "digistump" folder from Part 1 to the open "hardware" folder from Part 2.
Hope this helps other mac users.

the hardware folder in the DigiXAddOns download needs to be put in the Documents/Arduino/ folder and the folders inside the libaries folder (from the download) need to be in the Documents/Arduino/Libraries folder. I hit the same issue, they need to fix that wiki, you dont need new people to be hitting a roadblock right out of the gate.
