Have you tested the programming tool as far as the limits of current that can pass through it? I think this would make a great power switch for a Raspberry Pi, which needs at least 700mA and could use 2A or more.

The connectors are standard USB connectors (so rated for 500ma but can really handle much more) and the switch should be able to handle at least 700ma to 1a. The traces on the board should be good up to several amps. We haven't tested, but I imagine it would work fine at regular raspi loads, but 2a might be pushing it.
