This is likely related to security software that you have installed. The drivers and software have been tested on countless windows XP, Vista, and 7 machines as well as successfully installed by thousands and this issue has never before been encountered. Please try a different machine or look at what application is prompting for the password.

Thanks,
Erik

So i had the same issue with being prompted for a password for almost every file when using the "Extract All" option in Windows XP. I was able to get around this by opening the .zip file and "copying and pasting" or "dragging and dropping" the contents to another folder.

Same issue here when using Extract All in XP. I got around it by using 7-ZIP .. no password prompt there.
