Probably solved, but I could not find.
« on: March 17, 2013, 12:54:51 pm »

Hi -

I have only just now found time to play with my Digisparks, but I am finding that my Mac does not want to cooperate with installation. I have a Mac running 10.8.3 and I have previously installed unsigned apps. I have an existing Arduino IDE installed and working with non-Digispark boards (uno, Lilypads ..) Any special magic I may have missed?

Any advise for getting my digispark ready for code?

Thanks
David

Did you change the "Allow applications downloaded from: Anywhere" setting in System Preferences > Security & Privacy? The right click > open method doesn't seem to work well with the digispark app. It should just work after that change. Mac's don't need any drivers or special privileges or anything like that.

What aspect of installation isn't working specifically? Are you using a 64-bit intel mac? (not "Core Duo" or "Core Solo", Core 2 or newer)
