Req: I2C Controlled Keypad Scan shield please?

I found this while researching I2C; it can be useful to me (monome clone, keyboard, etc) & perhaps useful for others?

a 5V device would be much easier to integrate into a digispark shield. that\'s a neat device overall, especially the GPIO functionality so that it can be a port expander instead of a keyboard scanner.
