Need help with DigisparkKeyboard

I have been trying to insert the function found in the link above into DigiKeyboard.h, but with my novice skills I'm having no luck. The arduino IDE is reporting too many errors to mention. Could someone please post a working example of DigiKeyboard.h that uses this function? as I have no idea of what I'm doing wrong. Thank you.
