Digisparks not uploading correctly?

I am stumped.  I have tried 3 different Digisparks, on both an iMac (with two different USB hubs), and on a Windows 7 laptop.  All 3 of the Digisparks are clearly loaded with the Blink sketch before I upload anything to them, since I plugged them all in first.


I installed all software and the driver (for Windows) as specified.  I set up the Board and Programmer and am able to Upload the standard Blink sketch with no errors shown.  However, after the upload completes, the LED never blinks!  Just the power LED stays lit.

Are you trying the Examples->Basics->Blink


or the Examples->Digispark->Start


the first is for Arduinos, all the Digispark stuff is in example folders with Digispark in the name, the later is the blink sketch you want.
