I'm too am having problems with initialisation of my Digispark aatiny85 and coupling this with a Windows (7) device.
When I plug in the Digispark unit via a USB lead; it continually mounts and un-mounts. Every few seconds the computer will make the 'USB mount' sound, then a few seconds later it will make the 'unmount' sound - this cycle continues indefinitely until I unplug my Digispark unit.
I've tried manually installing the Digispark drivers before mounting and when I then pluyg the unit in, it shows in 'Device Manager' as Digispark Bootloader but the mount/unmount problem continues and my Device Manager screen keeps refreshing every few seconds.
I have tried different USB cables in case there was a problem with the cable - to no avail
I have also tried plugging the Digispark into my desktop tower, rather than laptop, in case the USB output on the laptop was too low - still the same problem though.
I cannot see any obvious problems with the usb connector on the digispark board and the red LED stays continuously lit whilst plugged in, despite the apparent mounting and unmounting of the device.
Any ideas or help would be gladly received.
Many thanks
