Power save modes current

Hello I tried to use DP in Power save mode using SLEEP_MODE_PWR_DOWN.
I disconnected the power led already.
I supplied DP via VIN
The minimum supply current is 7.4mA
But shouldn't it be much less for that sleepmode ??
What might be driving the current ?

If you feed it via VIN the voltage regulator will be the current hog. Those things are not very efficient.

If you want to measure what current the avr actually consume feed it a known good 5V via VCC.
