How to read device id

How can we tell if the Particle Config (mentioned at the bottom of the OakRestore page) is valid? I am beginning to suspect this as an issue since my Oak gets an IP address, appears to download the firmware, reboots (as verified by monitoring the serial port) but never shows up on particle.io.

I have tried to enter the device ID but I am not sure is it was done correctly. I have used both screen and minicom as the terminals.

Is there a URL or command that can be used to show what the current device ID is?

OK, yes, I know I am replying to my own question, but in case anyone else is wondering ---

http://192.168.0.1/device-id

returns the device id.

Ah, I was wondering about that. thanks for letting us know. I'm going to do a pull-request for that information to be included into OakRestore's readme.

I figured it out by guessing, but I later found it mentioned in http://digistump.com/board/index.php/topic,1939.msg8702.html#msg8702

Gives you all kinds off additional info as well, for example also if its already claimed, what firmware version is on it, etc
