Windows not recognizing the Digispark
« on: January 08, 2015, 08:17:09 am »
Hello :)

I bought three Digisparks USB Development Board from Ebay and after a decade of waiting....It finally arrived to me :)

pic : http://img2.buyincoins.com/gallery3/1/f3/54359/054359-1-01.jpg

The problem I'm facing is when I connect it to the computer It doesn't recognize (not giving me new device notification) and I keep hearing the 'Disconnected device' Sound every 10 seconds

And as a beginner in everything, I thought I'm missing something, so I tried these things:

- Downloading and installing the Digispark driver, didn't work

- Tried another one, since I've bought 3 of them and got the same problem

- Tried another computer and still the same problem

- tried re-installing the arduino program just for the sake of trying, nothing positive

In the devices management, it keeps refreshing and I can't identify the device there

So am I missing something? Please help

According to Digistump  WiKi, all rev 3's are counterfeit. Who knows what you ended up with.
See the frequently requested info in at the follow WiKi page...

It is a counterfeit device - usually they have no bootloader and/or use the wrong diodes - either way it won't work.
