It's in the nature of things like Kickstarter campaigns, that delays and difficulties happen. For the few dollars each (or more exactly pounds in my case!) that the various DigiStump products cost, I'm happy enough to wait for these to appear in the post.
The original Digispark, and the DigiX are wonderful little devices, and the Pro looks to be quite an improvement on the original, so I'm perfectly content with the ongoing process. As is detailed in the links that Dougal pointed to, most of these issues aren't of Erik's making, and are probably going to cost DigiStump additional money to sort out.
If I desperately needed a similar sort of controller, I wouldn't expect to get it via a Kickstarter, there are many similar devices easily available, with only a few minutes Googling.
