Forum doesn't show the date

In the forum, it just says "December" as opposed to a full date -- makes it a bit hard to keep track. Would it be possible to enable a full date for the posts in the forum?

On a related note, it says \"1 comments\" when there is only the original post but no comment yet. Could that be changed as well (decrease the comments count by 1)?
