My DIY Homebrewed Version

(1/1)

bitninja:
For my enjoyment, I put together a home-brewed version of a Digispark.

It's of course single-sided, non-plated through hole...  but it works... and I made it myself.

I can't thank everyone enough for their part in making open hardware so fun and enjoyable.  I hope to contribute something myself someday. (Once I do something original!)

Nice work. I may have to make one myself.

bitninja:
Thanks.

I'm working on another one today that does not have the power supply circuit... so it will be USB only.  I decided to try to make it smaller so that I could carry it on my key chain.

Let me know if you need any docs/files/etc...   I'd be happy to help.

Good work! And I bet, that I could not make it even better.
My favorite is still: http://cpldcpu.wordpress.com/2014/04/25/the-nanite-85/  That is unbelievable for home made!

bitninja:
@gogol - That IS a sweet build.  I am afraid my surface mount skills need much more work to reach that level.

Here is my version (without a voltage supply) that I use on a keychain.

I have it loaded with a small sketch that will invoke notepad and type out information.  Information on how to return my keys.  I know it has a slim chance of working, but for geek credits... I'll carry it around.
