Using Send.exe in Raspberry Pi (Linux)

Has anyone made this work?

If I run
$ sudo ./send

I get
./send: 2: ./send: Syntax error: word unexpected (expecting ")")

I know the spark is working, and I know I can send commands via python.  But I'm hitting a wall with send.exe, I guess I'm not even sure what I'm supposed to be typing.
