DigiUsb stops with Error -2 releasing Interface 0

Question: I'am trying to use the USB2LCD program. Unfortunately is immediately stops and return with the following message ">Error -2".
Any tips?

I am fairly new to this and getting the same error, but I think it might be down to Pythons USB communications
