How to setup a development environment?

Hi all, my first post here.
Just ordered a Digispark and was trying to setup a development environment on a Mac OSX 10.8.5 (Mac air 11").
I downloaded
http://sourceforge.net/projects/digistump/files/DigisparkArduino-MacOSX-1.0.4-May19.zip/download
, unzipped it, double clicked on the DigisparkArduino (208.3MB) in the extracted directory and got an error that it is corrupt (the unzipping process itself was ok). Tried again the entire process and got the same results.
If this IDE does not work, is there an alternative one?
Thanks,
Zapta.

Thanks, it is running now.
Edit: it was sufficient to disable the gatekeeper only for the first run.
