Part numbers for D1 and D2
« on: July 24, 2013, 07:06:49 pm »
I'm building a digispark on a breadboard. I spoke to Support@DigiStump and Erik mentioned that some of the components had to be very high quality to work. I have also read some of the discussions about v-USB and the zener diodes. (I don't yet understand them very well). I'm hoping to avoid problems by using the same components at Erik.  Does anyone know exact part numbers for D1 and D2

If you only want to use it with your own computers, try without the zenner diodes - they may not be necessary. Many computers are 5v tolerant. Certainly all of my Mac's are

Thanks. I want to make it so that students can use it. So I would like to be as universal as the Digispark

Digistump also provides wholesale pricing for education - in case you are just trying to make them cheaper for classroom use.
